President's Report

Greetings:
What a truly wonderful meeting we had last week!

On behalf of my role as President of NACE - Minneapolis - St Paul Chapter
I speak as one membership to "thank" the International Special Events Society - ISES - Minneapolis- St Paul Chapter.  We were truly honored to work together this month to share such a wonderful and powerful partnership with such an International speaker.

The Westin Galleria Edina Hotel was the host site of the joint NACE and ISES October meeting.  It was extremely exciting to bring to such a combination of true hospitality professionals together to listen to the International Cake Diva.....Sylvia Weinstock!

Her story truly was heartwarming and uplifting as she spoke from the heart and shared her experiences and advise to all who listened.

As the Westchester County & Hudson Valley Wedding Guide Stated -

"Speaking with Sylvia is like talking to a wise family member.  She is generous with good advise"

I was able to experience this gentleness first hand.  For that experience I am truly grateful.

Our Minneapolis - St Paul Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives, NACE - has experienced such wonderful program content,  membership growth and  true commitment from our attendees this past year.  We still have several wonderful and very important events within this next couple of months.

We appreciate the time and efforts you put in to keep our chapter thriving.  We will watch for you at the next couple of meetings and look forward to your involvement with our 2009 - 2010 Elections at the end of the year.

Yours in Hospitality,

Kathy Roberts
