WOW! What an AMAZING year this has been and it’s only April!
The Minneapolis- St Paul Chapter of NACE has successfully completed many mile stones this year. Following is a look back at the first part of the year:
January We were the Inaugural event at the Chateau of Medicine Lake. Mintahoe Hospitality hosted our Chapter for a Breakfast and Program on “Business Etiquette”. Mintahoe had us experience a welcome signature beverage, with an interestingly different and very tasty breakfast entrée.
February’s meeting was at the Marriott Southwest with “The Wedding Guys” and the “Latest in Wedding Trends”. At this event we experienced a wedding reception from start to finish (without the ceremony / bride or groom). Bruce and Matthew together with the Marriott Southwest created a glorious atmosphere of unique and delightful table tops and outstanding food and service. They displayed a different theme table beautifully decorated along with separately matched menus per table.
March was an outstanding educational experience. The day boasted of a Chef’s Panel moderated by Sue Zelickson, with WCCO Radio “Food for Thought” and four of the Twin Cities local chefs. They passionately explained the menu they created, while our membership experienced the meal. This was very well received as one of the best Educational Conferences our Chapter has put on to date. There were also four breakout sessions with a concluding general session on “Beverage Trends.” You will not want to miss next years Educational Conference.
April was the first time our Minneapolis – St Paul Chapter of NACE held NACE Awards 2007. Partnering with the Sheraton Minneapolis West our Chapter honored members who submitted awards the categories listed below. Join me to congratulate our Winners.
